Somerset is famed for its carnivals which wind throughout the larger towns of the region on Autumn nights. Here, on a farm on the Somerset Levels at Moorland, are the remains of a float from another year. Apart for the local relevance of the statues it does also remind me of the idols created at the potters quarter Kumartuli in northern Kolkata.
